Tanya Paulin is Creating a Canadian Presence in Sweden!
VNB is excited that last year Provincial Team Coach, Tanya Paulin, is enjoying the start of her professional volleyball career. Currently Paulin is one of 14 athletes who are playing for the Solentuna Volleyball Club in Sollentuna, Sweden which is located just outside of Stockholm.
However before Paulin even went abroad she was experiencing an incredible amount of success here at home. In the four years she played for the University of New Brunswick the 6’2” middle helped her team capture two Atlantic Conference banners, advanced to three AUS Finals and appeared in three CIS National Championships. She is also a former Atlantic Conference All-Star and was awarded multiple invites to the Volleyball Canada National Team selection camp. Aside from being a successful athlete Paulin also graduated on the Dean’s List and is a two-time CIS Academic All-Canadian.
This past summer Paulin was selected to coach the VNB 15U Maroon Provincial Team. As a coach she demonstrated a passion and understanding of the game and help create an unforgettable experience for our VNB athletes. VNB would like to congratulate Tanya on all her past success and we wish her all the best as we are sure she will continue to experience success in her future endeavors!
